Prunus spinosa (Aranyoner)

Setembre 26, 2006

(Watercolour on paper. The red seal is the transcriptionj of my name, “Miguel”, into old chinese writing. The seal was a present from our American friends Rudi and Joanne). The shrub represented here is very common in the mountains of Spain. At the end of summer the fruits are put in anisette with cinnamom and some grains of toasted cofee to make a licor, “Pacharán”.
